Tutte le mole sono montate su mandrini per permettere un’omogeneità di rotazione ed eliminare le vibrazioni. Il mandrino è di struttura robusta con albero rotante montato su cuscinetti a sfere per assicurare un perfetto allineamento. La tenuta meccanica, elemento essenziale del mandrino, è ottenuta mediante applicazione di diaframmi. I trasportatori scorrono su guide di acciaio temperato e rettificato. Per evitare l’usura delle guide, viene montato un impianto di lubrificazione centralizzato. Il trasportatore è formato da tasselli, composti da uno speciale materiale, fissati su catene di precisione. Il bloccaggio del vetro avviene tramite sistema pneumatico. L’intervento delle mole lucidanti è automatico poiché comandato da un PLC. Le mole sono raffreddate da getti di liquido a forte pressione che viene rimesso in circolo da una pompa autopescante. Le mole filetto si regolano automaticamente con il variare dello spessore del vetro. All the wheels are fitted on spindles in order to allow an homogeneity of rotation and to avoid vibrations. The spindle has a strong frame, the rotating shaft is assembled on ball bearings in order to guarantee a perfect alignment. The mechanical seal, an essential element of the spindle, is obtained thanks to the application of diaphragms. The conveyors slide on guides of hardened and rectified steel. In order to avoid the wheels wear and tear, a centralized lubrication system is fitted. The conveyor is composed by pads, made of a special material, which are mounted on precision chains. Pneumatic glass clamping system. The polishing wheels intervention is automatic because it is controlled by a PLC. All the wheels are cooled by coolant pumped from the coolant tank under pressure. The arris wheels automatically adjust with the change of the glass sheet thickness.
