PRIMA printing capabilities can range from rigid to flexible on the widest variety of substrates with various thicknesses from 70 gsm to 7 mm (.274”).

High speed output is achieved with a four gripper system allowing the material to be automatically registered while the previous sheet is being printed.

THREE QUARTER AUTOMATIC

Manually fed loading table with automatic registration system. Registration of each sheet is monitored by an electronic photoeye system placed at each lay-stop and push/pull guide for precise sheet position before the grippers begins the transport cycle ensuring the highest accuracy. Includes feeding rollers, lateral alignment system and material hold-down.

• The printing head, on heavy duty steel lifting columns, moves up and down in timing with the print table lowering enabling the gripper to transport the material.
• Open position of the high lift 4-post print head allows full clearance of the total screen area without any obstruction while cleaning the screen.
• The vacuum printing table is equipped with blowback, which enables the material to be slightly lifted with an air cushion after the printing sequence for an easy removal of printed material. Both vacuum and blowback are fully adjustable.
• Printing table: anodized, hardened, aluminium surface and honeycomb construction type guarantee planarity, flatness and rigidity of the printing base optimising vacuum and blowback control.
• Squeegee / floodcoater both controlled by an AC drive motor with inverter for variable and independent print and flood speeds as well as stroke length.
• Adjustable squeegee angle and fully adjustable squeegee pressure (pneumatic equalizer) ensure uniform ink deposit across the entire print area.
• The squeegee and flood carriage is driven by a stainless steel reinforced toothed belt, this permits a smoother and quieter operation.
• Equipped with four grippers whereby the gripper keeps substrate at the infeed then carries it all the way to the delivery conveyor. The conveyor system is fully adjustable to be synchronised with dryer belt speeds and easily adjustable to the heights of the dryer conveyor belt.
• Three operating cycles automatically controlled by dwell timer.
• Choice of print functions: flooding before the print stroke and flooding after the print stroke cycle. Print-Flood or Flood-Print.
• The mechanical syncroprint (peel off) is mechanically synchronised for peel-off height and rate. Easily adjustable including a no-peel flood function.
• Pneumatic frame locking and unlocking system to facilitate rapid change-over.
