Uno spettacolo che racchiude in sé musica e teatro per raccontare Giulietta e Romeo come mai prima d’ora: le parole di Shakespeare, incontrano le note dell’arpa suonata dal vivo.
In scena anima e cuore, odio e amarezza, festa e lutto, ambiente, duelli e rivalità “nella bella Verona che di sangue fraterno mani fraterne copre”.
Dalla festa in Casa Capuleti, al primo bacio. Dal Balcone al bando di Romeo.
Dalla notte d’amore all’invettiva di papà Capuleti. Dalla fiala alla morte… “for never was a story of more woe, then this
of Juliet and her Romeo”.

L’allestimento di questo Romeo & Juliet affronta una delle più belle storie d’amore di tutti i tempi mettendo suono, parole e musica al servizio delle emozioni. Il suono della parole di Shakespeare in lingua originale; il suono della parola
italiana che rende l’intreccio poliglotta e universale; il suono dell’arpa, non solo strumento, ma anche personaggio.
Qui nascono i quadri più conosciuti che diventano storia attraverso la relazione dei due personaggi: Romeo e Giulietta, e tra loro un personaggio, che racconta l’ambiente, la conflittualità e il non ascolto della bella Verona “che di mani fraterne sangue fraterno copre”. E il pubblico sarà allo stesso tempo spettatore e partecipe degli eventi, con un delicato coinvolgimento che lo farà diventare storia anch’esso.

The fortune of working for years on the same texts is that it allows you to enrich your knowledge and focus on the essentials. This version of Romeo & Juliet stages one of the most beautiful love stories of all time by putting sound, words and music together to enhance the emotions. The sound of Shakespeare’s words in original language, the sound of the Italian narration that make the story universal, the sound of the harp, non only as instrument, but also as character. Here famous parts come to life through the relationship of the two main leading roles, Romeo and Juliet, and between them a character that illustrates the ambiance, the conflict and indifference of the beautiful Verona “where fraternal hands are covered with fraternal blood”. The public will be at the same time spectator and participant, when, with delicate interaction, they (will) become part of the story.
