“olive oil drops”- “gocce d’olio”:the only podcast in the world entirely dedicated to olive oil is celebrating its first 100 episodes

“Olive oil drops”- “Gocce d’Olio” is the first and the only podcast in the world entirely dedicated to olive oil. Devised and directed by Marco Antonucci, the podcast consists of short, roughly ten minute long, weekly episodes in Italian and English that treat all topics concerning the olive oil world, occasionally with recipes and personal anecdotes.

The first 100 episodes contain answers to the questions the author received over the years in seminars, lectures and olive oil tastings. These episodes treat all possible topics concerning olive oil, such as: Why speaking about the first cold press makes as little sense as talking about acidity, explaining how to read labels, the different cultivars, how olive oil is sold or why deep frying is an excellent cooking method…

Podcasts are available in English and Italian, thanks to collaboration with Milena Lolic-Wilcox, a professional olive oil taster and a passionate olive oil expert.
