Flash Battery among the members of European project FASTEST
Accelerating testing processes to obtain a more reliable, safer and competitive battery system : this is the objective of the European project FASTEST which sees Flash Battery among the participants from its beginning on 1st June 2023.
This project, part of the research and innovation programme Horizon Europe, counts 14 partners from 8 different European countries that will work together for 36 months with the aim of creating a fast-track hybrid testing platform for the improvement of battery systems to enhance the competitiveness of the European battery industry.
"The participation in this collaborative project will allow us to acquire further expertise in testing and digital testing to implement new application algorithms for increasingly efficient electric vehicles. Precisely, Flash Battery will contribute to the definition of test standards for the industrial use case and provide an extended database that will be employed for benchmarking activities and baseline definition. This will enable the development of customised testing protocols for industrial applications that will be validated through the construction of a virtual demonstrator".
