iVT INternational : Performance batteries for better railway maintenance

Great achievements occur when you bring together two professionals who share the same vision for innovation. This is exactly what happened between Flash Battery and the french railway maintenance specialist Neotec , who has chosen to rely on the performance of Flash Battery's customised lithium batteries for the conversion of its fleets to hybrid.

“We came into contact with Neotec through our French dealer, EFA , who helped them to develop the electric system for the range’s first hybrid application, the Road Railway Application Sky C10 Hybrid-E, used for catenary maintenance . The result was a 51.2V, 200Ah battery solution , with 10kWh of power, custom-made according to the needs of the manufacturer. The mutual trust established led to a second project, involving the road rail lifting basket Sky C14, on which Neotec decided to maintain the same characteristics already validated on the C10, by 'standardising' a single solution that could be used on both applications , for different duty cycles".
