New European Battery Regulation

After a long awaiting period, the entry into force of the 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 is now officially nearby (May 2023). The aim of the arrangement is to encourage technological progress in the sector and reduce its impact on the environment, in view of a circular and regenerative economy. The new European environmental strategy is therefore outlined and will introduce 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 to ensure the sustainability of the supply chain throughout the entire life cycle of batteries.
